Internal Support

The City is using a portion of the ARPA funding to upgrade City facilities to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and increase public access to City services. A list of approved projects is below.

HVAC Replacements - $93,000

The City is replacing Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning units in City buildings to decrease the spread of COVID-19 and increase the air purification systems.

The City will be completing the HVAC replacements over the next three fiscal years. The first HVAC replacement has been completed at Fire Station 23 for a total of $93,000. This list will be updated as more replacements are made.

Technology Upgrades - $104,000

The City is upgrading IT systems to improve the public's access to information and permitting systems.

The City is also completing upgrades to technology in City Council Chambers to increase electronic participation from the public.

Building Upgrades - $16,200

The City is making minor improvements to public counters to decrease the physical contact between members of the public and employees. Publicly accessible counters are being upgraded to add barriers to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
