Multiple agencies taking back unwated prescription drugs Oct. 28

On Saturday, October 28, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the Rocklin Police Department and multiple agencies across western Placer County will help the public prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs.  The public is encouraged to bring pills for disposal to the sites listed below, including the Rocklin Police Department at 4080 Rocklin Road. (Liquids, needles, sharps or illegal drugs will not be accepted)  The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked.

Rocklin Veterans Day Ceremony

Veterans Day Ceremony in Rocklin 2017

The Rocklin American Legion Post 620 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 904 will honor veterans with an event Friday, Nov. 11 at the Rocklin Cemetery.

The master of ceremonies will be Lou Skulis, commander of the American Legion Post 620. There will be a flag ceremony and the public is invited to attend.

When: Saturday, Nov. 11, 2017 at 11 a.m.
