The City of Rocklin Parks and Recreation Department offers a variety of community classes and programs, such as Active Adults activities, Itty Bitty Club, Guitar Lessons, French Class and Sports Programs.

YSciT
Young Scientists in Training

Rocklin is proud to partner with YSciT to offer the Young Scientists in Training program. YSciT offers quarterly workshops and summer camp programs to introduce children to the world of science.

 YSciT is offering four workshops and each workshop has three sessions, and four class dates.

Ballet Classes

Guitar Classes

Are you new to the guitar but don’t know how to get started? Have you reached a plateau and don’t know how to reach the next level in your playing? Then this is your opportunity to learn the guitar in a fun, relaxed, and supportive atmosphere with an instructor committed to your success.  Get instruction on how to write and create original music and so much more!

French Classes

Lessons will be delivered entirely in French, using the latest foreign languages teaching methodologies. Students will learn about the francophone culture and various celebrations throughout the year. Number of students limited to 12 per class to ensure a productive learning environment. An assistant will help the teacher if the number of children exceeds 8.

Rocklin Character Club
Developing Character with Fun Activities

Rocklin Character Club Image

Rocklin is proud to offer the Rocklin Character Club. This is an after school program offered on Thursdays from 4:30pm-6:00pm this Winter from January 25th through March 22nd. The course code is: 15456. There is a $10 supplies fee which is due to the instructor on the first day of class. Classes are held at the Rocklin Community Center Springview Hall located at 5480 5th Street Rocklin, CA 95677.

Explore your own experiences of racism or prejudice in a supportive non-confrontational environment. Unlearn out of date stereotypes that still affect our words and behavior so that we can all share the richness of the diversity in our community.

A series of nine weekly meetings to learn about and to discuss racism and racial bias. Designed to provide information on multiple topics related to race relations and to offer a safe place to share personal experiences regarding racism.
