Licensed dogs get benefits…
- If your dog is lost or stolen, the City will know that you own the dog.
- You can show proof of ownership to any third party.
- You’ll receive a dog tag that must be worn by your dog at all times. Dogs are more quickly reunited with their families when they wear their tag.
- You will have the satisfaction of knowing that you are assisting the City in its effort to ensure that all dogs are properly vaccinated against rabies.
