What’s being planned?

The City of Rocklin has prepared an Initial Study with proposed Mitigated Negative Declaration (IS/MND) for the Rocklin Road and Interstate 80 (I-80) Interchange Project in Placer County, California. The City of Rocklin, in cooperation with California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), proposes to modify the Rocklin Road/I-80 Interchange from the existing standard diamond-type interchange to a diverging diamond interchange configuration and create a dedicated crossing for pedestrians and bicyclists.

The City of Rocklin, as the lead agency under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) has prepared an IS/MND to analyze the potential environmental effects of the proposed project. This notice is to inform you of the public comment period.
