Impact Axe provides a fun indoor activity for family and friends to get together in a safe environment. The business opened early this February, and shut its doors in mid-March after being open for less than six weeks.

Thanks to the support of the community when they were operating and gift card sales afterward, Impact Axe is planning on reopening Friday, June 12 with regular business hours. In addition to being the premier axe-throwing lounge in Rocklin, Impact Axe also sells grab-and-go food items, craft beer, hard seltzers, and non-alcoholic beverages to help you best enjoy your company.

“The community rallied and helped us survive when we were only open five and a half weeks before the pandemic. We want to continue to support you by offering discounts for nurses, first responders, teachers, students, military, and seniors,” owner Kristi Torrington said. ”The beer is cold, and the axes are sharp, so come on by!”

Customer health and safety is Impact Axe’s number one priority. Each group has its own area to throw in, and axes and any touch points will be thoroughly sanitized between groups. All employees wear masks and will undergo temperature checks before starting their shifts.

Current business hours: Reopening Friday, June 12

4 to 10 p.m. on Wednesday-Thursday, 4 to 11 p.m. on Friday, noon to 11 p.m. on Saturday, and 2 to 9 p.m. on Sunday

Future expectations: Axe throwing leagues have currently been put on hold, but Impact Axe is ready to host them once it is safe to do so. Be on the lookout for more information on leagues in the future.
