Can I put up a sign for a yard/garage sale?
You may post signs on private property, however, signs may not be placed in the public right-of-way, which includes trees, utility poles, benches or fences. For more information on posting signs, please refer to Section 17.75.030 of the Rocklin Municipal Code.
Do I need a permit for a yard/garage sale?
No, there is no permit required for a yard/garage sale.

The City currently sends surplus goods to auction for disposal. Auctions are held by www.GovDeals.com/Rocklin and www.1stcapitolauction.com. For information regarding what and when the City of Rocklin will be sending surplus to auction, contact the City’s Fleet Division at 916.625.5040.

Will the City of Rocklin accept a resume and/or employment application for future positions or positions not listed under “Job Openings”?
The City only accepts employment applications for positions
listed under “Job Openings,” and does
not keep applications for future positions. A City of Rocklin
employment application is required for all job openings. Resumes
are not accepted without a City employment application.
