City of Rocklin processes for building inspections and plan/permit submittals and reviews have been modified during the COVID-19 public health crisis.

Building Inspections

A a self-certification process has been implemented for builders and contractors allowing construction to continue. The process allows for licensed contractors, engineers of record and architects to conduct their own inspections and provide verification letters and other documentation to the City as they progress with construction. 

Plan/permit submittals and reviews

The City is accepting submittals and resubmittals of building plans and improvement plans, but by an appointment only process on Mondays and Tuesdays, between 8:30-10:30 a.m. Days and times may be adjusted based on staff availability and demand.

This schedule also applies to permit and plan pick-up, once those are ready to be issued.
