Quarry Park Adventures Operational Reports

Quarry Park Adventures (QPA) management presented City Council with operational reports for the 2021 calendar year and the first two quarters of 2022.

Reports showed strong park ticket sales in 2021, with 49,644 ticketed guests and a profit for the park of $540,178 in 2021. The first two quarters of 2022 saw 27,352 guests purchase tickets, with a total park profit of 130,464 through June 2022.

Over the past 18 months, QPA has passed all Cal OSHA safety inspections flawlessly, has never shut down a park attraction more than a day for maintenance, and was named one of the top-10 aerial adventure parks in the nation by USA Today.

The parks success has not been without challenges, which management listed as heat and employee recruitment and retention in today’s economy, among others.
