2023 Storm Readiness

News

Heavy rains and strong winds are forecasted for the reminder of the week, with some predictions of 4-9 inches of rain over the next ten days. Heavy rains and potential snow melt could put our streams and creeks at flood levels. Staff have taken steps to secure streams and creeks throughout the City. Any debris along these streams and creeks has been cleared to allow proper storm water drainage. A sandbag station at Johnson-Springview Park (5840 5th Street) has been re-stocked with sand, sandbags, and shovels for all Rocklin Residents.

We encourage all residents to be storm ready! Please visit the City’s 2023 Storm Readiness page for more information: https://www.rocklin.ca.us/news/2023-storm-readiness
