Northwest Community Parks Master Plan – MOU Workshop
The City of Rocklin and Melton Design Group invites all MOU partner organizations, including youth sports leagues and athletic associations, to a dedicated workshop focused on the future of Northwest Community Parks. This meeting is an essential opportunity for our MOU groups to share their needs, challenges, and priorities directly with City staff as we develop the Northwest Community Parks Master Plan.
The purpose of this workshop is to listen and learn from the organizations that actively use and support these park facilities. We want to understand what is currently working well, where there are gaps, and what improvements or additions would help support league operations, player experience, and long-term growth.
This is your opportunity to help shape the future of facilities at Kathy Lund Park, Margaret Azevedo Park, and Whitney Park. Your feedback will guide the planning process and ensure the Master Plan reflects the real needs of the sports community.
Topics of discussion may include:
- Field capacity, maintenance, and playability
- Lighting, restrooms, and support facilities
- Parking, access, and circulation
- Long-term growth projections and future demand
- Amenities that support athletes, coaches, families, and spectators
We value your partnership and want to ensure this plan reflects your vision for the future. Your insight is critical to ensuring these parks continue to support high-quality sports programming for years to come.
