The City of Rocklin is seeking applications from residents interested in serving four-year and two-year terms on a variety of City Boards and Commissions.

Positions available are as follows:


Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, live within the City limits, a registered voter, and willing to serve a four-year term to expire June 30, 2024, or until a successor is appointed. The Planning Commission meets twice a month and each meeting requires several hours of preparation, reading staff reports, related material, and visiting proposed development sites. The Parks, Recreation and Arts Commission meets once a month and requires various degrees of preparation. The Board of Appeals meets as necessary. All Boards and Commissions serve in an advisory capacity to the City Council and administrative officials. Compensation, if any, is established by resolution of the City Council. All appointees are required to complete a two-hour ethics training program upon appointment and, then, every other year.
