Every registered voter will receive a vote-by-mail ballot. Voters registered in Placer County may vote in person at any vote center located in Placer County, can submit ballots using secure drop boxes, or return ballots by mail which must be postmarked on or before Election Day. 

Drop boxes will be open starting May 5, 2026 until 8 p.m. on Election Day, June 2, 2026. Some boxes are inside buildings or gates and only available during business hours. Make sure you do not drop off your ballot in a library book return or other unofficial drop box.

8 a.m. to 4 p.m. before Election Day
