26 Parks in 2026
Neighborhood Parks
Rocklin is home to 37 parks spanning every corner of the city. This year, we are turning the spotlight on our neighborhood parks and inviting every resident to explore them.
ABOUT THE CAMPAIGN
26 Parks in 2026 is a community challenge inspired by our Parks and Recreation Commission as a way to promote holistic wellbeing and encourage residents to discover the green spaces woven throughout every corner of Rocklin.
Rocklin’s community parks are beloved destinations for sports leagues, recreation programs, and events that bring thousands of residents together. This campaign shines a light on our neighborhood parks, the ones tucked into residential streets and familiar backyards, each with their own community story and their own reason to visit. These are the parks where neighbors meet by chance and stay by choice, where kids grow up, and where a quiet Tuesday afternoon can feel like exactly what you needed.
From March through October 2026, we are spotlighting one neighborhood park each week on our social media channels and inviting you to come along for the ride.
HOW IT WORKS
Each week, Rocklin Parks and Recreation features a different neighborhood park on Instagram and Facebook. We share what makes that park worth visiting and invite the community to go see it for themselves.
To follow the weekly schedule and see community photos as they come in, follow us on Instagram and Facebook at @RocklinParksRec.
HOW TO GET INVOLVED
Getting involved is easy and there is no registration required.
- Visit the parks - Follow along each week as we spotlight a new neighborhood park and add it to your list. The goal is at least 26 visits, but there is no limit. Visit as many as you like.
- Grab your Park Passport – Download your free Park Passport below and check off each park as you visit. It is your personal record of the journey and a keepsake of everything you explored this year.
- Share your photos - Snap a photo at any Rocklin park and share it on Instagram or Facebook using the hashtags below. We will be resharing community photos throughout the campaign, and yours could be featured on our page.
- Come find us in person - We will have a booth at several city events throughout the year where you can pick up your Park Passport, share a photo, and connect with the Parks and Recreation team.
