2026 General Municipal Election
The next General Municipal Election for the City of Rocklin will be held in 2026 to fill two (2) seats on the City Council for four (4) year terms.
Nomination Period
Those interested in becoming a candidate should contact the City Clerk’s Department who will assist candidates throughout the election process. The City Clerk will issue Nomination Papers and Candidate Handbooks during the nomination period which begins on July 13, 2026 and closes on August 7, 2026 at 5:00 p.m.

Candidates must be 18 years of age, a citizen of the United States, and a registered voter residing within the City limits at the time the Nomination Paper is issued. For more information, please contact the City Clerk’s Office at (916) 625-5560.
