Placer County Moves into Orange Tier
Restrictions Ease as State's Full Reopening date of June 15 Approaches

The State of California today moved Placer County into the State’s Blueprint for a Safer Economy “orange” tier – easing restrictions in the county on businesses and activities.

Sectors that can open indoors with modifications include wineries, breweries and distilleries, bars with no food service, and family entertainment centers – while other sectors such as restaurants, gyms, and places of worship can increase their indoor capacity. California is preparing to get back to normal. On June 15, capacity and distancing restrictions will be lifted for most businesses and activities. Large-scale indoor events will have vaccination or negative test requirements for attendees through at least October 1. Find out more.
