Sprint is collaborating with the City of Rocklin to install a cell site on an unused lot adjacent to Whitney Park to maintain wireless service in the neighborhood. A previous cell tower in the area is being removed due to construction.

Phase one includes the installation of a temporary cell tower to commence in December 2019, which will be replaced by a permanent tower within two years. The permanent tower will be in the design of a faux water tank, for aesthetic purposes.
