March 2026
Local artists are invited to showcase their work as part of Artist Row at the City of Rocklin’s upcoming Red, White & Bluegrass Civic Celebration on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Johnson-Springview Park.
The Rocklin Arts Commission is currently accepting applications from artists who would like to participate in this special addition to the annual community celebration. Artist Row will provide a creative space where local artists can display their work, sell original pieces, and even create artwork live during the event, giving residents the opportunity to connect with and support the arts in Rocklin.
This deadline for first applications is Friday, March 20, 2026. Complete your application here.
The initiative reflects the Arts Commission’s ongoing efforts to promote arts and culture within the community, support local artists, and bring creative experiences into city events and public spaces.
About the Red, White & Bluegrass Civic Celebration
The City of Rocklin invites the community to gather for the Red, White & Bluegrass Civic Celebration, a free, family-friendly event celebrating community pride, local history, and civic engagement.
This year’s event is especially meaningful as it helps commemorate America’s 250th birthday as part of the nationwide America250 celebration.
The festivities begin with the Red, White & Bluegrass Parade, a walking procession through the heart of Rocklin featuring marching bands, decorated family wagons, local heroes, and beloved community organizations. The parade will travel from Front Street to the park, bringing the celebration to the streets before the main event begins.
Following the parade, the celebration continues at Johnson-Springview Park with an evening full of activities and entertainment for all ages. Visitors can explore interactive displays from city departments, including vehicles from the Police and Fire Departments and equipment from Public Works, while learning about upcoming projects, volunteer opportunities, and ways to get involved in the community.
Families will enjoy bounce houses, face painting, balloon artistry, lawn games, and a bubble station, while the event stage features live music and performances throughout the evening. A vendor village with local artisans and makers, along with food trucks and community booths, will round out the festivities before the night concludes with a spectacular fireworks and drone show after dusk.
Artist Participation
Artists selected for Artist Row will have the opportunity to:
- Display their artwork
- Sell original pieces
- Demonstrate or create artwork live during the event
Applications will be reviewed by the Rocklin Arts Commission, and selected artists will be notified following the review process.
By incorporating Artist Row into this year’s celebration, the Arts Commission hopes to highlight the creative talent within the Rocklin community while giving residents a chance to experience the arts in a fun, accessible setting.
