$500 Million In New COVID-19 Relief Grants for Small Business
Applications open for new round of state grants Dec. 30, 2020


California small businesses impacted by COVID-19 can apply for a portion of $500 million in state grants starting at 6 a.m. on Dec. 30, 2020. Applications will be accepted through January 8, 2021.

Funds would be awarded to selected intermediaries with established networks of Community Development Financial Institutions to distribute relief through grants of up to $25,000 to underserved micro and small businesses throughout the state. The state is working with the Sierra SBCD and the Norther California SBCD in the Placer area.
