Get ready for a night of authentic Louisiana swamp blues when Tab Benoit brings his Soul of the Swamp Tour to Quarry Park Amphitheatre on Friday, September 4th, 2026. Joined by special guests The Zac Schulze Gang and Tommy Castro, this is a triple bill of blues power you won’t want to miss.

Tab Benoit is Louisiana’s number one blues export, and for good reason. Since releasing his breakthrough album Nice and Warm in 1992, which drew comparisons to guitar legends like Albert King, Albert Collins, and Jimi Hendrix, Tab has been captivating audiences worldwide. For over two decades, he’s played more than 250 shows a year, perfecting a sound that’s entirely his own. His music is rooted deep in the Louisiana wetlands, blending the indigenous styles of his home state with his own innovation on guitar, where he creates accordion lines and washboard rhythms on strings.

Tab’s journey as a musician has always been intertwined with his passion for Louisiana’s coastal wetlands. After signing with Telarc International/Concord Music Group in 2002, he stripped his sound down to a powerful three-piece format, giving himself more freedom as a guitarist while focusing on writing songs in the very wetlands he works to protect. He founded the Voice of the Wetlands non-profit organization, using his platform to raise awareness about coastal erosion and gathering an all-star lineup of Louisiana musicians to spread the message. His label, Whiskey Bayou Records, continues to champion emerging and established artists who share his vision.

Whether he’s playing to a festival crowd of fifty thousand or an intimate club, Tab’s high-energy performances and passionate guitar work create an unforgettable experience. His music is timeless, blending blues, swamp rock, and Cajun influences into something that can only come from the bayou. With The Zac Schulze Gang and Tommy Castro rounding out this incredible lineup, you’re in for a night of pure Louisiana soul.

Experience the magic under the stars at Quarry Park’s intimate open-air amphitheatre, where the tiered grass seating and natural setting create the perfect backdrop for a night of swamp blues. This is music that comes from the heart of Louisiana, performed by an artist who’s spent his life perfecting his craft and protecting the land that inspires it.
