Ride, Connect, and Explore!

Welcome to the Whitney Park Bike Pump Track – the first of its kind in Placer County, designed to challenge riders, inspire confidence, and create a sense of community. Located at 1801 Whitney Ranch Parkway in Rocklin, this brand-new facility offers an exciting, skill-building experience for cyclists of all ages and abilities.

What is a Pump Track?

A pump track is a specially designed loop of rolling terrain, banked turns, and rhythm sections that allow riders to navigate the course using their body movements to generate speed – no pedaling required. This makes pump tracks perfect for building balance, coordination, and bike control, whether you’re a first-time rider or an experienced cyclist pushing your limits.

Features of the Whitney Park Pump Track:

  • Dual Track Design: The Whitney Park Pump Track features two separate tracks, each tailored to different skill levels.
  • Main Track: Designed for more experienced riders, this course offers a challenging layout with steep rollers and sharp banked turns, perfect for refining skills and building speed.
  • Adaptive Track: The smaller, secondary track is specifically designed to be barrier-free, offering a safe, welcoming space for young children, beginners, and riders with varying abilities. It’s the first adaptive pump track in the region, ensuring that everyone can enjoy the thrill of riding.
  • Community Collaboration: This track was developed in collaboration with local cycling advocates, including the Rocklin Bike Coalition, who helped shape its design to ensure it meets the needs of riders at every level. It stands as a testament to the power of community support and shared passion for outdoor adventure.
  • Year-Round Fun: Whether you’re looking to improve your riding skills, challenge friends to friendly competition, or simply enjoy a family day at the park, the Whitney Park Pump Track provides a dynamic outdoor experience that riders can enjoy year-round.

Important Note for Riders – No E-Bikes Allowed

For the safety and enjoyment of all riders, the Whitney Park Bike Pump Track is a pedal-powered space. E-bikes and motorized bikes are not permitted on the track.
