Economic Development coordinates, monitors, and implements all activities associated with economic development as identified in the City’s adopted Economic Development Strategy which accomplishes the following:
- Creates an economic vision to identify and acknowledge our strengths and weaknesses
- Outlines sustainable strategies for growing our economy
- Identifies target industries and strategic investment locations to ensure a positive return on investment to our community
- Builds partnerships for sustainable economic development
This office works to keep Rocklin livable, by acting on two overarching approaches to economic vitalization – strengthening what we already have and pursuing what we need to achieve a strong, diversified local economy.
