Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) - Program Year 2023 Standard Funds

The City of Rocklin receives funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development in the form of Community Development (CDBG) each year.  The funds are used, in part, to assist residents with securing decent housing, benefit the elderly, and expand economic opportunities for those of low and moderate incomes.

In May of 2022, the Rocklin City Council resolved to award a total of approximately $42,000 in CDBG funds for Fiscal Year 2022/2023 to three local non-profit organizations serving the people of Rocklin.  The three organizations who will receive funding include: Seniors First, Stand Up Placer and KidsFirst.

The City of Rocklin anticipates receiving an estimated allocation of $285,000 in Standard Community Development Block Grant Funds for the 2023 Program Year (PY) and is seeking proposals to use the funds for eligible activities.
