Rocklin’s newest Greek restaurant, characterized as a “food truck off the wheels,” is now open. In November, Chef Michael “Wolf” Athanasopoulos opened the brick and mortar version of his thriving Greek and Mediterranean food truck business that serves much of Northern California. “The whole vision of the restaurant is a casual eatery that still has the charm of a food truck,” Chef Wolf says.

Everything at The Lamb & The Wolf is handmade and artisan—even the pitas for the gyros are Chef Wolf’s own recipe and manufactured by his provider! The pizza dough is hand kneaded, and specialty toppings like beef jerky and sausaroni (a sausage pepperoni) abound atop the sweet-and-spicy tomato marmalade sauce. Chef Wolf is part of the official U.S. Pizza Team and travels all over the world to compete (and regularly win). The restaurant also serves up traditional Mediterranean and Greek gourmet desserts like baklava, samali, and mosaiko, alongside other yummy entrees.
