City Seeks Planning Commissioner
The City of Rocklin is seeking applications from residents interested in serving on the Planning Commission to fill a vacant seat. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, live within the City limits, a registered voter, and willing to serve a term that expires June 30, 2018, or until a successor is appointed.
The Planning Commission meets twice a month and each meeting requires several hours of preparation, reading staff reports, related material, and visiting proposed development sites.
All appointees are required to complete a two-hour ethics training program upon appointment and, then, every other year.
Applications are available from the City Clerk at 3970 Rocklin Road, Rocklin, California, or online at www.rocklin.ca.us and must be submitted to the Clerk’s office by 4 p.m. on October 14, 2016.

Offers of appointment are conditional upon successful completion of fingerprint clearance.
