National Night Out Brings Community Together

News

On Tuesday, August 6, 40 Rocklin employees and volunteers, including the entire City Council, City Manager, and Fire Chief, visited neighborhoods across the City for National Night Out.

Rocklin staff and volunteers were split into 10 teams and able to reach groups across town. Kids climbed in and over police vehicles to get a closer look, while everyone took the opportunity to get to know each other on a more personal level.

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie. Working together, residents and City staff can make Rocklin neighborhoods ever safer, more caring places to live.

The City of Rocklin thanks all the neighborhood associations, watch groups, home owners associations, residents and volunteers for their hospitality Tuesday and for their continued involvement in building the community.
