The Marshall Tucker Band

Legendary Southern rock group, The Marshall Tucker Band, performed April 29, 2016 to mark the opening of the City’s new Quarry Park Amphitheater. The band’s appearance was the first in a series of six concerts. The Marshall Tucker Band performs a blend of jazz, country, blues, rock & roll, and everything in between. With hit songs like “Can’t You See,” and “Heard it in a Love Song.” Check out photos from this 2016 concert on our Flickr account!

Papa Doo Run Run

Papa Doo Run Run, a Classic Rock band that plays the hits of the 60’s and 70’s, and are especially renowned for their award winning re-creation of the hits of the Beach Boys.  Joined by Garratt Wilkin & the Parrotheads, this beach party themed concert showcased the fun of this classic era of feel good music, sun, surf, and sand, at the Quarry Park Amphitheater.

Tim Flannery & The Lunatic Fringe

Concerts at Quarry Park was proud to present Tim Flannery & The Lunatic Fringe! Tim Flannery, the famous former third base coach for the San Francisco Giants, showcased his musical talent in Rocklin. The Highway Poets joined them with their unique blend of Folk/Country, R&B and Rock.

Country Fest

The City of Rocklin goes Country!  Quarry Park Amphitheater featured Nashville, Tennessee recording artist, JT Hodges, American Idol finalist, Kree Harrison, and Placer County’s own up and coming trio, Auburn Road. Check out photos from this 2016 concert on our Flickr account!

Sons of Champlin

The new Quarry Park Amphitheater continued the 2016 season of great music, with Sons of Champlin, featuring Mingo Fishtrap. Sons of Champlin is headed by Two-time GRAMMY® award winner, Bill Champlin who is known the world over as the soulful singer/keyboardist of the iconic jazz-pop band Chicago. 

An Evening with Molly Ringwald

The final show of our six part 2016 concert season at the new Quarry Park Amphitheater, culminated with An Evening with Molly Ringwald. Joining the iconic performer were her father, Bob Ringwald, and The Peter Petty Revue! Check out photos from this 2016 concert on our Flickr account!

Other Concert Events

Quarry Park hosted the Cap City Concert featuring James Bay and Ruth B in April. In May, Quarry Park played host to 107.9 The End Wake Up Call Birthday Bash, featuring the Pentatonix, Haley Reinhart, Sean Hook, and Grace.
