Changes in Storm Water Pollution Prevention Reporting Requirements Attention Developers, Engineers and Contractors: The new Construction General Permit was adopted September 1, 2009. The clock is ticking to get familiar with the new SWPPP and reporting requirements. Plus, there are some new acronyms to learn. The new permit goes into effect on July 1, 2010, and there are filing deadlines on or before that date.
