Theatre Classes

Be a Volunteer! Volunteer as a crew member and help backstage with costumes, and with concessions, set, lighting and more. Most crew members are parents of the students involved.

Be an actor! Participate in a 10-week class with rehearsals on Thursdays, Sundays and selected Tuesdays. Below are upcoming theatre productions you can get involved in!


Rocklin Shakespeare Jr. 2010

Want to make friends and have a blast this summer vacation? Start off your summer right with this fun-filled workshop about Shakespeare, his plays and every-day life in Elizabethan England! Students will learn history, make Elizabethan crafts and study acting to put on a free performance for families on the last day of class. Interested students will also be able to perform at Shakespeare in the Park, later that month!

Classes will be held every Tuesday and Thursday from 1-3pm at the 5th Street Center Classroom (located between the playground and baseball diamonds at Johnson-Springview Park) from June 8th to July 8th.

This class is open to ages 11-14.

Sign up through the City of Rocklin Department of Parks and Recreation!

Follow the adventures of advice-giver extraordinaire, Edwina Spoonapple as she directs the kids in her 'Advice-A-Palooza' extravaganza. Written in the style of Schoolhouse Rock Live! and You're A Good Man Charlie Brown, Dear Edwina Jr. is the perfect girl power musical for a new generation.
