Rocklin Preschool is a school-year-long program. All Rocklin Unified School District legal holidays are observed. Rocklin Preschool is designed to prepare your child for entrance into Kindergarten. All participants must be potty trained. Children are registered in classes by age according to birthdates. The Playschool and three-year-old classes meet for 2 1/2 hours per day, twice a week. The four-year-old classes meet for 3 hours per day, three time a week. Fees are pre-paid on a monthly basis.
Preschool Curriculum - Our motto at the City of Rocklin Preschool is "Where every day is a celebration of learning!"
- We offer your child the following educational experiences in a learning atmosphere:
- Kindergarten readiness preparation
- Language Development
- Daily activities that include:
science music/circle time directed learning hands-on-exploration art projects snacks social interaction themed lesson plans cooking activities outdoor play
The preschool sites follow identical philosophies and lesson plans. Rock Creek, Ruhkala and Sunset Ranch Preschool sites in partnership with the Rocklin Unified School District are dedicated to providing services to both typically developing children and children with special needs in an inclusive preschool program.

Class enrollment: Up to 18 children with 3 teachers in the older 2 1/2-year-old class Up to 24 children per class with 3 teachers in 3-year-old classes Up to 27 children per class with 3 teachers in 4-year-old classes All teachers meet the state requirements for Early Childhood Education units. The Preschool year runs from August 17, 2010 through June 3, 2011

- $75.00 non-refundable registration fee
- Monthly tuition fees:
$22.00 per day for Rocklin Residents
$25.00 per day for Non-Rocklin Residents - Copy of birth certificate
- Copy of immunization records
- Copy of Parent's proof of auto insurance
- Signed Parent Agreement from the Preschool Parent Handbook
Preschool Subsidized Tuition Application What is Subsidy? Subsided tuition is available to families of qualified 4 year old students. We are currently accepting applications.
Wee Play & Learn (parent participation class) Spend Quality time with your child in a fun and exciting environment. This class is geared to stimulate growth through a variety of play based activities. Your child will have the opportunity to explore messy art and sensory activities, dramatic play, blocks, puzzles, and movement and music activities. Please dress comfortably and be prepared to have fun! No class 11/22, 2/21, 4/18, 5/30. Mondays 9:00-10:15am
