Who can get a copy of a police report? You can only get copies of police reports which directly involve you.

Who is an "involved party?"
The following are examples of involved parties. You will be required to present identification to verify your "involved party" status. When are reports available?
If the case involves an arrest or is up for criminal review, the report may not be releasable until after the case has been adjudicated, dismissed or declined. Call the Rocklin Police Records Unit to find out if the report has been completed and to verify that it is releasable. How do I request a copy of a police report? How much does it cost?
There is no cost unless the report is over 50 pages, which is a $5.00 fee.
