How much does an animal license cost?
A three year license is $86.00. If your dog is spayed/neutered, you will get a 50% discount off the license fee ($43.00).
The license fee is prorated to coincide with the expiration of the rabies certificate or exemption certificate. So, if the rabies certificate expires in two months, you only pay for two months. Upon expiration of the rabies certificate, you will need to obtain a new certificate and a license renewal form will be mailed to you. To obtain the correct prorated fee, call the Rocklin Police Department at (916) 625-5405.
